Hey guys... I have built a few 2 stroke bikes, and have noticed some globs of grease on the seam in the engine next to the clutch arm.... is this serious.... i’ve seen it happen a couple times, and mine always ran great... but I wonder if it is something wrong? will some J.B.Weld do the trick?

Is the grease where the engine case splits in half next to the clutch? Since it is in the clutch area it should be fine.I did use gasket sealer on mine just in case.

Try and seal it up with gasket sealer like AaronF said. The grease keeps those parts lubed inside that case. I don't know if you have noticed but on the engine where you thread your clutch cable is actually a pin that, if you unscrew it completely, would be the place you would put/replace said grease. So the stuff that's leaking is normal but you do want to stop the leak. I don't recommend J.B. to seal anything on a case, on the off chance you may need to open it up some day.
