rain is fun, but now I gotta get the filth off my bike.. would've been smarter if I had some fenders..
Here are one of the few that do not break on an MB.
They are plastic and very crack resistant.

hahah my bad on the random silicone thingy, nothing to do with fenders, i was agreeing with fall-down-stand-up

Those poly fenders work great. Cheap and light, and they will take incredible twisting and bending and snap right back, easy to trim to fit, and not likely to send you over the bars even if you have a jame up with chain or tire. But don't know how well they would take and keep paint; left mine black. No, I don't have stock in the company...

Crashing does not scare me what-so-ever; sudden un-planned stops in mid stride scare the carp outta' me!
water can sneak down your throttle cable and into your carb in a rainstorm. you can buy a little rubber thingy for brake cables from a bike shop and slip it on there with a bit of silicon at the top.
