Don't buy it if you want reliability or longivity. That drive is known to crap out at about 250 miles or so. #25 single row chain and thin castings just won't hold up to MB duty use.

Has a 3 to 1 ratio so it would take a very large roller to get fricton drive ratios right.

friction drive using a gear reduction case with a sprocket output... you must not like your tires very much. friction drives are direct drive off the motors crankshaft no need for a gearbox
