The frame and forks were originally for 28" wheels common in the 20's. Later motobikes from the 30's mainly came with 26" wheels. The frame is a common motobike style, but the forks were how I dated the bike. they are curved not straight like most motobikes. this is the web sight that i used to figure the date to mid 20's.

I used new powder coated 26" rims on the bike. The frame was powder coated by the previous owner but has a few minor chips.
The powder coat also obscured the serial number . I did not grind it off to research the frame ,so I just compared lots of pictures to get a general date.
I made adaptors to fit new wald chrome 26" middle weight fenders to the bike.
It is running a new pirate cycles 36 tooth sprocket and adaptor with the chain cut and adjusted to run with ought a tensioner. You just use the original in frame chain adjusters. I made the tank and foe oilcan (cdi cover) myself. Also I modified the throttle grip to use vintage schwinn grips on both sides.
The seat is a new comfort seat with a antique style hairpin base.
Tires are 1.75 brick tread. this is the widest tire this antique frame can handle.
