I’m still in the break-in new engine phase and cruising around town about a dozen miles a day. The trip easily burns a quart of fuel and hoping to get better future fuel mileage. Still thinking about getting a gallon size fuel tank, but it seems like they’re all out of stock. So for the time being I’ll be strapping on some jerrycans for those 50+ mile trips.

Have a safe one everybody.

Just returned home from a 25 mile round trip grocery shopping. The 1.5 L tank was topped off beforehand, and there was still some fuel left at the end of the journey. I’m thinking it would have went 30 miles or further. The 2 stroke engine handled the steep inclines and strong headwinds fairly well…going 20+ mph…and with 50 lbs. of groceries I might add. Also followed the advice of giving the engine a 10 minute rest after a half hour or so.

Not bad at all during this break engine phase.
