Just an update. With my new motor, runnign 1:100 Opti-2 she cruzes all day at 25 miles per hour, with heaps of throttle to go. 25MPH is about when the powerband kicks in and she rally starts to take off. As I weigh 220 pounds I think this is good. I have given it a squirt up to 50km/h but dont want to run this one at WOT.

Just throwing in some of my thoughts here, my 48cc china girl will only pull just over 30km/h on a 44t sproket on 26" wheels. Completely stripped down frame, so no extra weight, match ported maifolds, schwalbe kojak slicks, otherwise pretty much stock.

I run 20:1 castrol chainsaw two stroke oil, it runs better and smoother on this than any other synthetic at 30 or 40:1. What altitude are you at? I think me being at 5000+ft might have a big effect on the small motor. Definatly runs stronger on the cooler days:)
