Hi all still having this problem, an almost knocking clatter from the front wheel at speed, all is tight, runs fine and silent when slow.

Any ideas?

Also anyone have the best thought on kickstands, I have a rear friction drive.
double stand / rear side stand. Don't want anymore cracked recoils.

Thanks!

Thanks for the input! The spokes are tight, do you mean that even tight there could be noise? I have used 2 dif wheels and got the same sound!?

I removed the front fender a while back thinking it was the cause, but no.

Just wanted to say if this front wheel is alarming you not to trust. I mean do figure it out? What Dave said try another front wheel.

I did that I have now been through 3 wheels and all the same noise, one was a bit loader than the others.

My fear is it is the bearings, and if they were to go, then down I go.
These are wally world wheels, so that is half the problem.

Spokes are tight, the wheel seems tight in all respects, but that noise is unnerving.
