I am looking to use a LED light for my bike. The light uses 4 (1.5 volt) AA batteries. Now the math says that this (1.5 X 4) = 6 volts. Right? or is there special math when it comes to electricity. I am still a little confused on AC vs. DC. I am currently using a 6 volt SLA battery to power my lights now. My question is, Can I "hard wire" the light with the SLA 6 volt or would it blow out the LED? I really don't wanna spend money I don't have on a futile attempt. Any help getting me to wrap my head around this electrical stuff would be great. Thanks.

I have read if you use the magneto to run the light it will rob you of power, I used a meter to check the voltage on my grubee 48cc found that the voltage at idle was only four volts.

If your LED lights use 6V and the SLA is 6V, then you can hard wire those together with no problem, keeping in mind the proper polarity.
