I don't see any reason why not! That would be one bad a@$ bike! If you make it, make sure to post pictures for all to drool over. The only thing I would say is don't go cheap on the motor mounts.

I think that would be a great match-up. The heavy frame & wide tires are a good vibration asorbant. It will be good on flat rode but I know from experience the real wide tires can be hard on turns... GOOD LUCK! Love too see it.

WELCOME TO THE FORUM. HAVE HAD MY HP MORINI FOR SOME TIME, BUT HAVE NOT MOUNTED IT YET.

IMHO, THAT WOULD MAKE A GREAT BUILD. YOU COULD USE A "JACKSHAFT" TO DRIVE LEFT OR RIGHT HAND SIDE OF REAR WHEEL AND GET RID OF THE LONG CHAIN.

USE THE "STATON.COM" 3 GROOVE FREEWHEEL ADAPTER AND 3 PRONG SPROCKETS ($5. EA. FOR THE SPECIAL 3 PRONG SPROCKETS). THE PEDAL CRANK SET IS LEFT STOCK, FREEWHEEL CRANK NOT NEEDED. FREEWHEEL IS ON THE JACKSHAFT.

THE STATON 3 GROOVE FREEWWHEEL ADAPTER AND THE 3 PRONG SPROCKETS MAKE IT POSSIBLE. IT GIVE`S YOU SEVERAL OPTIONS.

OH, MAN. I JUST REALIZED; I DON`T KNOW IF THE MORINI`S ARE 1:1 RATIO AT THE DRIVE SPROCKET OR IF THEY HAVE GEAR REDUCTION BUILT IN. THEY MUST HAVE GEAR REDUCTION, AS I HAVE NOT NOTICED ANY VERY LARGE REAR SPROCKETS ON THE MORINI BUILDS..

IF THE MORINI HAS GEAR REDUCTION IT MAKES IT EASIER. WITH THE JACK SHAFT IT COULD BE MADE INTO A SHIFTER NOW OR LATER. "ROBIN" IN CANADA, SAYS HE NEEDS A SHIFTER FOR THE HILLS. RON

Did you decide to pursue this? This same frame is one of the possibilities I've been considering for an electric build. Sorta a "modern interpretation" of a BTR , or maybe more appropriately, a 60's-ish bobber (if the rake can be reduced a bit -- haven't spoken to Sam about this yet).

BTW, saw pictures of your other build. Very nice!
