I have a grubee gt5 and after xchamber, plug and wire, and porting intake and exhaust, I got a slim line filter from sbp. the problem is that when the filter is on, it idles good but no midrange. only accelerates going down hill and bogs when throttle applied. put the old p.o.s back on and its fine. resticted the flow of new filter with foam from cns filter and it got better but not all the way. is there such a thing as too much air for the cns carb?

Thats what mine did also, I have a 48cc grubee angle fire with a sbp air filter. I had to drill my main jet, I started with a #69 doing plug checks till I got the engine running like I wanted. I ended up at a #64 drill bit, mine runs strong from idle to wot.
