Selling for $3499. Yes it costs a lot but, to my horror, the parts cost alone exceeded $4000. The price spiraled out of control when I added the electric components to this already existing gas bike. This bike can run off either batteries alone or gas power or both simultaneously, as well as pedal power.

Wow an actual "hybrid" bike this is so cool.

Can you charge the battery by drawing the power from the gas engine?
The main battery is charged by braking or "Brake Regen" but since your not riding the brakes all time it can only recharge about 25% of the batteries capacity. I'm about to install a 400 watt inverter to run off the front battery to recharge the main 48V battery while riding.

Of course the front battery will eventually die. That's where a rear wheel, friction driven 35 Amp, 7 lb. alternator, that I will install later, will recharge the 12V front battery. This bike project never ends. It just goes on and on and on. LOL

I have had my gas throttle cable break twice at the throttle grip for one reason or another and once I was 10 miles from home. I simply disconnected the chain to the gas motor and made it home only on electric power.

2000+ miles and I've never been stranded and never had to pedal to get back home. That's what I like to call, Hybrid Redundancy. LOL
