Default dirve sprocket replacement

is there some trick to get a new drive sprocket on?

i got the old one removed without issue, can't seem to get the new one to seat all the way down.

It will be "done" when it can climb trees, go 300 mph, and fire lasers from the headlights. Surface to air missiles would be nice too.
