Hand pump oil thingy for BTR????

Originally there was oil in the sump put those old engines burnt it, leaked it etc, so every now and again you had to squirt some more in.

Yeah, I was talkin to an old timer the other day that had a 1930 1200 Harley with a hand pump. He said the directions were to give it several pumps every 75 miles.

I have an old, very large veterinary hypodermic needle that is chrome plated brass and glass. I will use it, after I strip the chrome, to make an oiler pump like this one.

yup that looks pretty much like the one I have, I just need to strip the chrome then figure out the mount and plumbing.
