I replaced the 26x2.125 tires with a smaller 26x1.5 semi-slicks, which added a good bit of speed (and made it easier to pedal, to boot).

The drop bars were salvaged from an old '80s road bike that was rotting in a garage. I linked the throttle to the right brake lever and the brake to the left.

Which feels awkward.

I'm looking for a thumb throttle so that I can link the brake to the right lever and the clutch to the left.

Other than that, its a very fun ride now. Quite a thrill :)

Thank you, I appreciate it.

It totally has! I felt like I was flying down the road today. I'm pretty sure I'm still doing my usual 26 m.p.h., but it feels quick ;)

I found and ordered a thumb throttle for $10 on eBay this morning.....right before I found one that has a dual pull brake lever.

Those tires dont look bad, I need to replace mine (2.10) and I have a new set of 1.75 I may just try out.
