Can someone tell me how to utilize the original Nirve stock grips (that come with the bike) with an after-market throttle?

Does the inside of the throttle grip have to be reamed out to fit onto the throttle sleeve? Is the grip cut in half? I've seen this done on other builds, but not sure how...?
Thanks

if it's a rubber grip, you can soak it in hot water to soften it up, then work it over the throttle tube. do Nirve's have those leather stitched grips? if so, i dunno, but the throttle tube is only about 1/8" bigger.

I don't know about Nirve's, but my giant suede had foam filled stitched leather grips and I was able to soak the throttle one in hot soapy water and get it to stretch over the throttle barrel.

Those are only ones I ever tried because they matched the seat and very comfortable.
Everything else gets these.

A little hot water and dish soap and they stretch right over the barrel, and you get four 8" tubes.
Even you have to replace them every year they are cheap and very comfortable.

TIP: Pull the throttle barrel out of the housing and stand it up on the ground to slide the grip on.
You can get both hands working to push it on.

Anything but those hard plastic kit grips ;-}
