I am looking to get a hub adapter and sprocket for my new build. I was running a 36T on my china 2 stroke, and will now be using a 3:1 reduction Dax Titan 50cc. The kit came with a huge sprocket, like 70T. What size will equate to my old 36T while factoring in the 3:1 reduction and anything else I may have forgot to consider?

China Girl has a built-in 4.15:1 gear ratio. With a 10t/36t combination, that's 14.94:1 final gear. 4.15 x 3.6 = 14.94:1.

Multiply a 14t/70t combination for 5:1 ratio. Multiply 3:1 reduction and you get 15:1 final gear.

Titan engine might want more than 15:1 gears.

So I just realized that when I go with an after market hub adapter and sprocket, it's not going to work with the gearbox sprocket because it's an 8mm size versus a 1/2'' size of the other sprocket I would get.

Has anyone switched out the front 14T sprocket in the Dax gearbox so they can put on a different size sprocket with the hub adapter?
