northern chicago burbs
Hi!
This is my first post, just found this site today. I finally got around
to fixing my motor, and found that the primer bulb split in half.
I bought this engine new, from Japan, around the late 70's or early 80's and
it has maybe 15-20 hours on it.

I need to rebuild my gas line, or maybe bring it to someone who can.

I live in northern chicago burbs and wonder if anyone out there knows who can
fix this, or where i can order the parts.

I have the orignal tools that came with it, and the owners manuel, so I know what
parts I need, but dont know where to get them.

Anybody out there know where I can get it running again?

You have no doubt seen by now the Tas Deluxe thread on this same page. If Mike Snyder is out of them or can't help, I may have one, but won't know until I get back to Minnesota in a couple of weeks. If you're out of luck, PM me then. Mike knows these motors backwards and forwards.

Welcome to the forum. Worst case is that you have to replace the carburater. Hopefully, you can find a replacement bulb at a lawn care store or power sports store.
