Sounds interesting. Like to be on the forefront of new products. Usually can find out a lot of information while everyone is in the learning stage.

Hey,

if you can't wait for their production, I found a product called the Roto-Cam mechanical clutch. It's an industrial product and quite pricey. A used one on Ebay is selling for $621.00, but hey, you would have some bragging rights!

I think the one on Ebay would be the correct product with a 5/8" shaft. Check the literature link on the Roto-Cam website.

Good Luck,

Hey Velo... I just checked their thread over at OMB looks like they sent the business to china and they are testing the parts they received. Here is the thread here, I'm bummed I was hoping they would have been on schedule but there is a web address in the posts somewhere. You might be better joining that forum just to send them a pm that you are interested. http://www.oldminibikes.com/forum/e...manual-clutch-horizontal-shaft-engine-38.html

Yeh, anyone build one yet? How is this compare to a a bully clutch? Beside the obvious that it can handle a bit of torque and can bump start easily.

I'm about to place an order but still waiting on an answer from them.

Tried to order from their store but couldn't, since they have only have a few left. I'll probably installed this clutch with a drive system similar to sportsman drive system. If that doesn't work out, then I probably just fab up a separate jackshaft.

Like every other manual clutch design for the equipment style engines that I have seen in 40 years as a gearhead....
It's a pipe dream.
At least this one seems to have built a working prototype for the videos...
*goes back to waiting*
