after a top end rebuild i have a serious issue. my piston hits the crank at the bottom of the stroke. noticed this after i kept having to pull the cylinder on and of after the piston kept getting jammed. did i do something wrong of is the bottom end just toast?

hmm maybe the jug is slightly slid forward or backward creating a slight angle in rotation that is however unlikely are you using the same piston
i have my motor apart right now brand new and the piston will hit the crank if not lined up correctly
