Hey guys, so I never really got my bike working. It's a grubee skyhawk. I figured out that it wasn't getting a spark, so I tested the CDI and magneto, everything there was fine...I just got a new spark plug, now the bike starts up. So here's my problem. I start pedaling for a while, release the clutch it starts. I pull back on the throttle and it will accelerate for about 1-2 seconds and then the acceleration will cut off, but the bike stays on. Please help me! Let me know if there are any details I left out that you need, I am new to this.

Check your throttle linkage. Remove the air filter and look down the inlet throat of the carburetor while twisting the throttle. You need to confirm that you see movement of the throttle slide, or barrel.
You didn't say which carburetor you have. That would help us a little.
