Hey guys new on here and to motorized bikes. Been mocking up my engine and stuff today and noticed the drive chain is catching on the tyre is there any way to space out the sprocket on the engine to help it clear the tyre? I would post picture of what i mean but it wont allow me to yet :( Cheers for any help

Moving engine sprocket out will change area where chain will run and cover space.
Spacers (washers will work ) between rag joint and sprocket on rear wheel may work.

Most chains will touch the tire while riding & leave marks on the tire. I've never had a problem from it.
Just make sure the chain isn't cutting deep grooves in the tire.

you will notice that the rear sproket is "dished" so if your dish is facing the tire, flip it around and you will get another 1/2 inch of clearance. i still have knobbys on my bike and this def happened to me
