Hi.

I'm into bikes, and bike mechanics, but know not alot about motors.
Still, I like to tinker, and I think I could get into motorized bikes.

Looking forward to learning things over time.

Interests:
transportation bicycles, for commuting and touring
low-pollution (4-cycle better?)
cold-weather use (like, -30c)

Cheers.
Daniel.
(Winnipeg Bike Dump, yay!)

Welcome to the forum!
4-strokes= better KPL (kilometers per litre?) and less nasty emissions compaired to a 2-stroke.
As for cold weather use, ya better warm up the little engine before you try to start it or you could be trying for a loooooong time.
Some folks like the idea of a hair dryer, others like placing a 60 watt lightbulb underneath it to let the heat rise up and warm it for an hour or so.
Others just let the bike stay in a warm environment while at rest and do not let it get cold in the first place.
