Hey All!
I just bought my first motorized bike from a Venice cop. A schwinn beach rider with a Grubee Skyhawk. It was bogging down and stalling on me, leaking from the drain screw at the bottom of the carb and wouldn't start without a ton of work.
I emptied the old gas, cleaned the carb and carb petcock, added a fuel filter from autozone and used a piece of a rubber band to stop the drain screw leak (temp fix). She runs great now! Runs about 20 comfortably and 30 top speed. I think I'll invest in locking nuts because the vibrations seem to loosen everything.
