Yes!. If the wheel wobbles that means the spokes aren't true. That's going to come back and bite you somewhere along the way. Get the rim trued by a professional or follow the tutorials available on the net on how to true spoked rims. You'll be glad you did.

ok thanks. my bike is a trailblazer 26" inch mountain bike and I wana get it in good order before I get the kit to install thanks for the advise i am greatfull for it and im sure ill ask plenty more as i continue on.

Brakes are the important issue you need to concentrate on. You'll be adding weight and speed to your bike. Having good brakes is essential. Don't scrimp on them.

when I'm running low on money and my brakes are worn out, I spend it on brake pads. at the speeds these things go, straight wheels and good brakes are a huge must. I dont know about disc brakes, but I go through V-brake pads every couple months, so I just buy the cheap $7 ones
