Ever since I discovered the Schwalbe "Big Apple" tire, I thought a full suspension bike was the only way to go if you wanted serious performance.
But now, I wondering, can these tires be taken further?
I was made aware of a thread here on this forum of a "Schwinn fatboy".
These "fat bicycles" may have a lot of merit for motorizing.
What kind of problems are we going to face?
I can think of one right off the bat: Chain clearance.
I could produce offset output sprockets, and also shifting the engine off to the side a bit. Maybe even special jack shaft?
BUT HOW ABOUT THE RIMS?
Yeah, we've got the Worksman wheels, which will work with the "Fat Frank" tires, and that is pretty good.
But our motorized bicycles may perform better if we go fatter!

Does any one know of any other alternatives to these rims, like a formed steel rim?
