i doubt the ht can put out 6 hp, not without going to a case reed port, then it wouldn't be an ht anymore. if anyone can pull 3 hp out of this motor you'll have my respect.
Why is it not an HT if you go to case reed? (lots of machining would be required to do this anyway...)
Seems to me its just a highly modded HT. If you take a yamaha 61x 701 motor and weld on kawasaki dirtbike intake runners, its still a yamaha 61x.... Albeit it makes Kickass power now. LoL

piston port and case reed are two different styles of engine, if you mod an ht to the point it's not even recognizable is it still an ht, maybe, maybe not, affordable mods are never going to get the ht into the same league as the morini, it is what it is and thats why we love it.
