I have a black 2009 48cc skyhawk with straight plug and would like to find a HP billet head to boost comp and add performance. the stock coating is like plasticote for tool handles- so thick it cant help in cooling so my choices are raw angle head or find a billet head, or coat/soak the thing in zip strip hose it off?

occ stingray, 48 grubee skyhawk, speed carb, ported intake and exhaust pipes, chambered exhaust, 41T, she purzzzz on 92oct non-oxygenated with amsoil synthetic oil.
WHO SELLS A 48CC BILLET HEAD FOR MY SKYHAWK MOTOR?
THANKS i looked all over for a couple hours yesturday
.shft.

Iv never heard of any of the kits coming with thick plastic like coating. But if your looking for a head to get better performance and cooling + over all precise quality look into the Fred heads, he makes them with i believe 3 different size combustion chambers, 1 or 2 spark plugs and you have the option of a compression release.

here is freds store:

IF you have a local machine shop you could just have your cylinder decked/milled if you want more compression and arnt to worried about cooling. With my experience on how hot these get, i would try to find a nice head the bigger the better!

I have a 74cc puch hi comp head, a lot bigger than stock for cooling has a better squish band/chamber size but required some mods for fitment.

I believe all the heads out there are made for the 66cc engines, i havent seen a aftermarket head for a 48cc,
