Just a general question about jets.....

Just installed my new Dax GT50R with the RT 15 mm carb they sell.

The engine runs really nice at part and full throttle, the carb comes with an extra smaller jet and a larger jet then what's installed in the carb.

My question is- what advantage/disadvantage would I get using the larger jet?

Better performance?

Or should I just let sleeping dogs lie and leave well enough alone. I love to tinker with stuff......I just want to know if this would be a waste of time to change out jets.

It's all about the fuel to air mixture. Typically, if you're at a lower altitude, you want a richer/larger jet because the air is more dense. The opposite is true at high altitudes. So really, if it's running well as it is, moving to either jet may reduce performance. If you do a plug chop (search forums on it), you can get a good idea of how lean or rich you're running.
