I put this together because I got tired of the "reach across" to fiddle with the choke lever during cold starts. I took an old set of caliper style brakes apart and cut half of it down and ground it off to make an anchor point for the cable. The cable runs up to an old plastic brake lever that I cut down to make a two finger style lever. I put the spring in to keep the choke wide open when I take my finger off of the lever. So far it is working very well and I have been enjoying being able to adjust on the fly.
