I was changing my fuel lines yesterday/today becuase I was getting some fuel leakage, turns out the threads that hold the main adjustment screw in on the carb body are no longer there when I took the screw out, some of the threads came out with it like they were broken off. Short of it the main adj. screw wont tighten. NO..I didnt strip it, I actually never even adjusted it. So My question is is there a fix, prob not. Who has an extra lower end of a Tillotson ML5A, what would one expect to pay for one. Is there an affordable carb replacement out there? I really dont want the riding season to be over already, but a quick look on e-bay and the internet turns up nothing..which means expensive.
