Cool old Western Flyer

My newest project, a Western Flyer. Not sure how old but I'm guessing 70's.
Thinking of old school board track theme, or maybe just "rat rod".
I've got some springer forks, a cool brooks replica saddle and a few other goodies. Should be cool.
Need help though, the seat tube and down tube are 1" (actually .989") diameter.
Anyone know where I can get an engine kit with a narrow front mount? Everything seems to be designed for fat down tube beach cruisers.
I'd rather not spend big bucks on a custom mount.
Thanks!

That frame should be a good candidate for a two stroke motor in the frame. I motorized a WF frame a while back. My Flyer was 1976 vintage, made by Murray. You can see a big difference in the rear dorpouts.

Welcome to the forum. I'm trying to remember as it has been a few years since I've used a China girl engine, but it seems to me that Pirate Cycles had an insert which adapted the bigger mount opening to the smaller diameter down tube. One of the vendors must have one. How about Boygofast or ebay?
