I live in Northern Michigan so I got about 4 feet of snow. and about eight feet of snow in front of my garage. So my whizzer is in my house. My wife caught me this morning setting on my whizzer while watching T.V. in my pajmas drinking coffee making BROOOOM BROOOM noises. You ever get that look? All she could do was shake her head ask me if I need a refil and took a shower...

My wife thinks I lost my Mind..

Reminds me once when it was too cold to work in the garage and I spread newspapers out on the living room floor so I could rebuild an automatic transmission while I was watching TV. I looked like a kid putting together a LEGO set at xmas time, parts everywhere and the stench of automatic transmission fluid and burned clutch discs.

j3000, you gave me a giggle. Thanks.

My wife catches me sitting on a bike occasionally but it's always in the garage. She's used to it so doesn't say much. Not sure what she'd do if it was in the living room. That's a funny image. Thanks for sharing.

Its one of the reason. I get along so well with my kids. I act just like them, My wife tells people she has 3 kids instead of 2.

Tell her it could be worse, that you are thinking of lifting the rear wheel off the ground and firing it up so you can get the full effect of riding it!

My ex-wife hated MaBs. She could never understand why I would rather ride miles on a "chainsaw-sounding bicycle" than drive anywhere.

Key words: ex-wife. Some learn to accommodate our madness and some don't. We accommodate their fits of illogical thinking, why not vice-versa? :D

I always worked on my bikes in the living room before I had a big garage. In 1975 I had a 68 Harley in the living room & gas leaked from the petcock & caught fire. The tank wasn't bolted so I tore it off & gas was runnig out & caught the living room on fire. We got it put out without much too damage.

You ARE nuts... Were all nuts ,i won't have it any other way . Once on a trip we had five bikes and six people in a tiny motel room ,you should have seen the look on the owners face when she droped off towles that morning. We were all siting on our bikes making revving sounds ... She kinda backed away like we were about to attack her ? When the door shut we laughed for ten min. My buddys wife lisa swore she would never go on a trip again ,said it was like babysitting five kids who were allowed to drink beer.

LOL, it just happened to me again. I was adjusting my rear view mirror, setting on the bike and checking the view before tightening the jamb nut when the wife came out to get something from the freezer.

"Sitting on that thing again?" She asked and went back in before I could explain.

Mine is pretty good about the bikes, doesn't bat an eye anymore. My Whizzer got assembled in the living room last winter and she could have cared less...she is a keeper.

i threaded a few parts on the motor sitting in my lap in front of the tv,it was new and i wanted to see how it looked with the pipe and carb on it.

i cleaned car parts in the kitchen sink before,so its nothing new to my wife.

in my early 20's i pulled the trans out of my 68 coronet, put it on a two-wheeler and ran it to the car wash, and home.down into the basement where i rebuilt it.
it was the first of many.

rebuilding carbs in the house-no worse than nail polish remover, right?
thats my defense, and i'm doing it in the basement.

momma wont let me move my lathe in the house.i've tried many times.

That is how she got me to quite going to the bar, I told her the reason I was going to the bar was to watch the game on the big screen T.V. She bought me a 52" one for fathers day.lol
