I too have one of the Ambassadors. Purchased it from Jim a couple of years ago. I have never put it together. I ran into a couple of health issues and really don't feel like messing with it. It is still wrapped up and all the parts are there and would look real nice going home in someone's trailer :) My bike was purchased from Jim also and he was very good about shipping and keeping me posted on whereabouts. If someone can use the bike it would have to be pickup. I did own an original (1940s)Whizzer that was a dog. I believe I pushed that thing about as much as I rode it. I then purchased a new Whizzer in the 1990's (first steel cylinder liner) I spoke with the head mechanic with Whizzer and tore the motor down and tweaked the heck out of that thing. I advanced the timing, removed the restrictors, polished the ports, removed the baffle and got that sucker to running 54mph on thorn proofs. Had it a few years and then some lady wanted it more than I did. Wanted another, so here it sits.
