So the OCC stingray was so loud it was bothering the neighbors so we built a set of mufflers...

The thread we did of the muffler fab is here...

So my son wanted a set of mufflers like a dual exhaust. so we made a Y pipe and welded the mufflers on with a brace to take the weight.

We used 1/4 inch drive sockets to keep the back pressure up but for some reason the plug keeps fouling with gas and oil. Is this a problem of not big enough exhaust or do I need to lean out the fuel some how?

Here are some more pics...

It ran befor with the straight pipe but now it just fouls the plug with fuel.

Any ideas?

What fuel to oil mix are you running? What spark plug? Are you doing any WOT (wide open throttle) runs or just putzing around slowly? You need to open that puppy up a few times and let it breathe. Also these engine will perform better with milage. Burn a few gallons of fuel and see how things are going. There are ways to lean the mixture but let's get the basics out of the way first.
By the way, how's the boy enjoying his ride?

Found the problem, DOH!!! Old gas is no gas!!! And we regapped the plug. Runs like a champ now!!

my son, Bad Biker Dude, came up with the idea and I formed the plan and he executed the process!!

Here is a video of the bike. It has a really nice tone to it.

The sound cuts out on the video about 2/3rds of the way through, I dont know why..
