I turned the on/off switch on and it lit up.
I twisted the throttle but motor does not spin ?
Help?

motor- red and black wires - where to connect?
controller- red and black wires - where to connect?
left over wires: 1 large red and 1 small red wire from fuse - where to connect?

Note: red and black on motor does not connect to red and black on controller, cause itryed that already.

The sewing machine foot peddal works, but when pressed i get full speed and power.
I guess thats ok,its not like it will go too fast or anything. Im using a 30amp fuse and the wires look ok. I can hook the battery charger socket wires right to the battery wires for charging.

Is a controller just for so you can use a throttle and control your speed?

Tommorrow's test is a test right in my back parking lot, wish me luck.
If it goes to fast maybe i can connect it so i would have a choice of 12v or 24v so i would have 2 speeds.

*I will be posting in the DIY homemade thread section*

Controller (depending on a model) do that and some more (like controlling levels of A and V, switching between different modes and configurations...). It is desirable to put one in the system, in order to protect it (not to burn your motor or over discharge batteries...) and to control system behavior.
