Laurie Bond was a prolific designer of vehicles in post W2 Britain. Apart from the 3 wheeled Villiers engined cars he was responsible for (guilty of?), he came up with some 2 wheelers. Of possible interest is the Minibyk, a machine composed largely of folded or rolled sheet aluminium. Ugly and it didn't sell, but the basis for economic production was there. Some of you might like to take some of the ideas away and use them:

Well, if you think about it, a folded and riveted and glued up metal box is comparaitely simple to make, and requires no welding. There is also the advantage of hiding fuel and electrics inside the box.

Well, this outfit chassis was made using 2 part epoxy adhesive and pop rivets in a backyard. There were a couple of engineered bits, but not much when you got down to it.
