Hello all,

This is my first post and my first project. I have a motor kit from Ebay (80cc), and now I'm looking for a bike. I'd like to use a Schwinn Cruiser, but I think I read something about difficulties mounting the engine to these frames. Can anyone recommend a good bike for my project that will require minimal modification and a relatively simple install?

Thanks

Ken

I like the classic looks of the Schwinn Cruisers. I am not particular to the Schwinn brand, but rather to the design I'm referring to.

hi there and welcome to the forum
you can use a schwinn if you want its going to fit just fine i have a newer schwinn jaguar with a 80(66cc) engine in it
i just suggest a U-bolt frame mount to make life easier because the down tube is a little large on them like most cruisers
only other thing i can think of is try to get a bike with front and rear brakes one isn't enough for stopping a motor assisted bike all the time
