I'm looking at fixed-gear bikes so as to get a track-bike frame geometry.
Of course most of these fixed-gear bikes are free-wheel bikes unless the hub is flipped.
Then I'm looking at aluminum frames so as to get large tubes.
Here is what I found:
GT Meatball Urban Bike
Large frame tubes
If a front brake is wanted then the fork would need to be changed
The rear is a two-speed coaster hub and so the immediate question is how the two-speed hub would work with an engine ?
The tires are slicks !
Tire size is 700 x 35
Motobecane Fixie Cafe
Interesting but the frame geometry looks a little tame
The front brake needs to be right hand pull
Tire size is 700 x 28
Dawes SST-AL
Large frame tubes
The front brake needs to be right hand pull.
The handle bars would need to be changed for a throttle installation
Tire size is 700 x 25
Motobecane Fantom Cross UNO
Frame geometry looks good
But this is a steel frame with smaller tubes
Notable because the tire size is 700 x 32 but has clearance for 700 x 42
Micargi Prestigio
Large aluminum tubes
.
