So I bought my first bike yesterday rode it today for about 20 miles. The guy I bought it from knew alot about building his own bikes. He told me a bit of information about it. I live in the mile high City and my moter has less than 30 miles on it. It is an 80cc motor. My biggest questions are what type of mix do I use for the engine he gave me a 50 to 1 mixture. And do i need to get my carb adjusted for the thin air. After riding it today I think that it is great and I cant wait go get back on it. Any Help or information would be great. Thanks Ryan

If you have a good synthetic oil in the mix 50:1 is O.K., but not ideal for break in. I would shoot for around 32:1 for break in and then go to 50:1 with synthetic.

You shouldn't have to adjust your carb for the altitude if it is running O.K. now. Have a look at the plug- it should be brown or slightly black, not grey or white.
