I did a motorized and bicycle check this morning that I thought was
pretty furlow, before going on about 10 mile planned ride. I ridden about 1
mile from home and snapped the clutch lever cable about 3" from the top.
Since I do not carry basic tools and parts for the unexpected breakdowns,
that left me stranded along side of a weedy ditch, cornfield and a wooded
strip of embankment. I forgot my cell-phone too. So that left me with the
choice of hidding the bike or scooting it home for repairs. I scooted it home
because I was with-in 1 mile from home. I did not want to leave the bike and
someone find it and claim an abanded bicycle find. I will now on carry extra parts
and basic tools with my bicycle for the basic unexpected repairs and always a
cell-phone for the can not fix there.
Speaking of spare parts, I ordered a clutch lever cable with sheath,
brass stopper, heat spring, and return spring from livefastmotors. All I
recieved was the first 2 items from them. When ordering parts from them
,make sure you write in the comment box what you expect to get with
your order.... even better order by phone and verify the contents of your
order will come complete.

I hate phones and refuse to carry one o.o

I forgot to mention that I tried out the SBP- stainless steel
clutch cable today in the longer motorcycle grade sheath (not from SBP).
I was very pleased with this clutch cable and did make the pull of the
clutch lever alot easier. Another great product from SBP.
