I clocked my bike going 27 MPH on a flat surface. All stock. Is this a good speed? How fast can you get yours going?

27 MPH sounds about right for stock....I've been to 34.4 MPH using a 36T sprocket (6400 RPM....about as high as I want to wind the engine...I will use a smaller sprocket on my next build).

Ok, Thanks. Thought I might have been going a bit slow. I feel like I need more speed. Will get into mods later. :)

en cuba, i've gotten one of my creations up to around 50-60 but that was a very light frame, plastic bottle tank, and a 150CC from a old motorcycle.

edge Here you go:) Google Bonniville Salt Flats. It's in Utah. Also Speed Records. I'm not sure but I think the two wheel speed record is close to 400 MPH right now (c)

Are you talking about the homeade bikes people make out of scrap in Cuba? Do you have any pictures of your bike?

35mph winding out at wot - pure petrol/oil mix @ 50:1

32mph cruise at WOT - petrol/oil/nitro mix @50:1 + 50mls per gallon Nitro.

I havent had the machine wide open on that mixture yet to see top speed.

These figures with engine fitted with tuned pipe.

36mph maximum with petrol/oil/nitro mix as above w/o tuned pipe.

some simple exhaust porting and a 36 t rear sprocket on flat ground running with a 26"x2.125 street tire I can cruise easy @ 32-33-34mph. but my fastest has been 39 mph and I was tucked down on my bike for less wind resistance
