simplex servi-cycle question

Hi all,

I just joined and this looks like a great site. I have a 46 or 47 servi-cycle bought new by my uncle who gave to my father in 55 and dad gave it to me in 59 when I was 12. I drove it for about 3 years...lots of fun. Is there a way to determine when it was made? The crankcase is stamped G1244.
