Hello, I'm new to the forum and the 80cc motor kit that I have just installed on my cruiser bike. It was OK till it started to leak from the top cylinder cap, A oil and gas mixture that shows as black in the leak it's leaking right at the bottom of one of the many fins I quess it's called. And only leaks when running.. Does this mean there is somthing more wrong than the leak or may it be a bad part? and I have seen new parts {caps} for sale will this solve the problem? Would like to hear from anyone about this Thanks :-||

welcome to the forum Ron.

seeing as you are here,i suspect the Cylinder Head Gasket is leaking,or the studs that pass down the outside of the cylinder have worked loose.dont go jumpin in there with a ratchet expecting the leak to stop, you will need to remove the four nuts, lift off head and inspect the surfaces the gasket touches.
gasket may be damaged also.a spare usually comes in most kits.
i reccomend you do a search and learn more about your engine and proper tightening of the bolts before you go tearing it down.

there are many Guru's here on the forum, one of which i am not.yet.
they have many discussions on this very subject, you will just need to go look.
