Maytag did make flat opposed twins. My uncle has 2 and he will not part with either. All they do is sit in his basement and collect dust. I bet neither has been started in at least 30 years.

Those little engines have no power at all. I thought about using one on my bike, but my dad talked me out of it. They look cool, but they won't pull anyone over a hundred pounds.

Seriously ?.....does the guy in the video below look like he weighs less than 100 lbs. ? Not to me. If your goal is to rip around and test the limits of a machine built and designed for pedal power, then it's not the powerplant for you.

Seriously, if you want to ride fast, buy a motorcycle.
