I've heard carbon frames are prone to cracks, what do you guys think about a carbon road frame with a single speed set up and a Magic Pie 3?
For road riding only of course

I am sorry but not ignoring you because I do not know the answer, I built a Schwinn home grown carbon with a motorized bicycle and had no problems at all however the bikes rear triangle on it was aluminum

Just beware of the torque on the rear chainstays from the dropouts with a hub motor. Maybe a mid drive kit would be more appropriate on an all CF bike.

I have seen some electric kit powered mountain bikes with carbon frames. The only carbon framed road bike I have seen powered by electricity had a friction drive motor. The motor shaft turns the surface of the tire, so the frame endures no more stress than under pedal riding.
