QUESTION FOR THE FORUM???
I am planning to make a multi-state trip on my motorized bicycle. Lets call it a over 55yo mans attempt to have an adventure.
I live in Illinois and have built a motorized bicycle that meets or exceeds all the Illinois laws. I also have a valid drivers and plan on wearing a helmet and eye protection on my trip. For the motor to live I don't plan on running over 20mph either.
Now the question is if my trips begins and ends in Illinois where I am a resident, am I am legal in other states I am traveling through?
For instance that is the way it is for all boats and cars that travel state to state. You can also travel to Canada and Mexico.
Does someone has some knowledge on the subject?
