i stumbled upon this review of the happy time/china gal engine kits

http://www.grandpappy.info/hmoped.htm

the writer (or should i say typist?) brings up good points but mostly it sounds to me somone who doesnt understand the point of a motorized bicycle.

some issues (like the clutch and brake on the same side = less brake power when coasting) can be fixed with a simple part upgrade (dual pull brake lever)

but others are a bit odd, and lead me to assume that he didnt like how the engine fit is bike. like how he believes the exhaust needs an extra 15* of bend.
:-||
its a generic kit
theres so many bike styles how can he expect it to snap together?

Some silly remarks, but i believe a good read none-the-less for those looking to purchase a kit.

IMHO the kits are ment for pure recreation, and if your not willing to tinker with it you should have gotten a brand name moped

i love my china girl

There is a previous thread, a long one regarding that man and his inability to follow simple instructions, his misunderstanding of established mechanical practice and his lack of common sense. I don't know where that thread is right now but I'll merge yours with it if I find it.
