I'm running the same kit, and I noticed the power drop too. I thought it might improve once the engine broke in more.

Maybe carb jetting, or better intake flow? Maybe a less restrictive exhaust?

have you noticed a ""sweetspot"" where the motor gets quiter but has more power?
It seems to be between 1/2 to 3/4 throttle. Then it roars and slows. Roll off the throttle, and it takes off again.

At first, I thought the FD roller was slipping on the tire, but I found out it wasn't.
Then I was thinking clutch slippage.

I was just going to wait for a few miles to see if it needed a better break-in. Then I was going to experiment with intake and exhaust.

I'm aware that it will never be a speed demon, but I don't think it's even going 20 mph right now.

I have about 30 miles on mine at this point and did change to a staton 7/8s roller and new bearings as the ones that came with the kit had a gritty feeling when you spun the roller. I have been unable to find specs on this Chonda motor but the motor its based on I did find the setting for valvelash for the honda 33cc

spark plug gap .024-.028

idlespeed 3100 +- 200 rpm

valve clearance COLD IN. o.08mm +- .02
EX 0.11mm +- .02
oil 10/30 in temps 90f and above 30 weight
spark plug NGK cm5h or cmr5h

hope this info helps others with this kit
