Great meeting you last weekend! :)
yep, racing can be rough on machinery, Brian aka Nashmoto one of our top longtime racers had his second race in a row being a DNF due to mechanical failures.
Don't be so down on yourself. :)
Hope that you come back for the next race at Willow Springs on sat May 14th with the usual Friday practice.

You got 39 days........
I'm not ready to give up. I'm planning on going to Willow Springs with the goal of actually starting the race, don't know if I will finish but I will start this time, haha. I will be there friday the 13th as early as possible. And what's with that? April fools day at Grange and now Friday the 13th? Are you planning this on purpose? Good thing I don't believe in jix, at least, I don't think I do. :) But I will be more prepared this time and I will bring lots of extra parts and an extra rim just in case. Anyhow, I might bring a friend and his bike to race too, if he can make it. Can you tell me how much Willow Springs will cost?

19 days or more like 18 days to the 5 year Anniversary 18th Race.

Willow Springs costs about the same as Grange.

$10 gate fee paid to Willow Springs good for the whole weekend.

$25 paid to Willow Springs to ride on the track Fri 13th from 8am to 5pm

$35 race fee on Sat 14th.

I am trying to get Willow to drop their already cheap $25 to $20 and to extend the hours beyond 5pm.

There will be a big crowd watching.

Speedway: We raced here twice in 2012 as a summer night race.

Okay, thank you, I can't wait, see you at the track!
The Beginner China girl race class will be racing on the full track and
not using the cut out like the GoPeds and GoQuads.

Also racing clockwise for the very first time so everyone is on equal
footing like a new track.

Willow Springs is a different experience than Grange with a full air
conditioned restaurant and bar in the Grandstand up on the hill over
looking 2.5 mile Big Willow and our Go Kart Track in turn 1

Lots of paved access roads to ride around to see all the 7? other tracks.
Horse Theif Mile is on the side of the mountain with 10% grades like a
roller coaster.

Oh good, I want to do the full track. I checked Willow Springs out on Google maps too, it's actually much nicer with more tracks than Grange. It's an "international raceway" so I would expect it to be nicer than Grange, it should be interesting to see all the cool tracks. Also, I noticed on their website that they have a section that says "RV/camping--Dry Camping and RV hookups", but then it says "more information to come". Can you tell me if there are RV hookups a Willow Springs? Not that I need one for just 2 days or anything but I was just wondering. I will park my RV with everyone else, at the north end of the go-cart track in the parking area, I assume.

Also, my friend Kevin is coming with me this time. He has his own beginner/intermediate class china girl bike and should have the necessary safety equipment to race. He is an old guy newbie racer like me so you can expect him to be there with me this time.

Neil,
Are we going to be able to run a few laps on Big Willow again??
If so, I'll bring a 2nd bike with different gears for it. (^)
Norm, the big plan for Sat May 14th right after our trophy ceremony at 4:45pm and ending at 5:15pm is to go up to the Speedway 1/4 mille oval
to run some exhibition races starting at 6pm or there abouts.

There is no extra time for anything else on Sat.

Details for the Speedway races will be worked out on Friday.
