Gosh it was awfully clever how they could ride their motorbikes backwards like that

I liked the Russian motor bicycles and mopeds and one of them even looked like it was a Mixte conversion.

Ive seen the scooter unit used on other things, but can't think where to find the images. It seems to me to be a perfect way to achieve friction drive without the normal wet weather slippage.
